Good50x70 / 2009
The project that helps social communication

WAR ON TERROR (sostenuto da Amnesty)
WOMEN’S RIGHTS VIOLATION (sostenuto da Amref)

Il brief dettagliato sui temi è consultabile sul sito di Good50x70 oppure dopo il “salto”.

Deadline: 1° aprile 2009.

Brief

CHILD LABOUR (endorsed by Unicef)
Child labour isn’t working.
Children are not a short-term resource for immediate economic relief and their education is an investment in their country’s (and family’s) future.

CLIMATE CHANGE (endorsed by WWF)
It’s time to lead.
Europe’s leaders must approve a law to guarantee a 30% reduction
in CO2 emissions by 2020 this December in Copenhagen, or risk 1/3
of all animals being threatened with extinction by 2050.

HEALTHCARE DEPRIVATION (endorsed by Emergency)
Medical treatment is a right for all, not a privilege for some.
No one should die because they can’t afford, or can’t get health care.
That’s so last century.

HIV/AIDS (endorsed by Lila)
HIV isn’t a life sentence.
Being HIV positive is not a criminal offense. Governments must focus
on education and prevention of the disease rather than repression.

NUCLEAR EMERGENCY (endorsed by Greenpeace)
Nuclear power is going to blow up the planet.
Nuclear power is not safe or good enough for our planet. Rather than pursue a dangerous path that can offer little environment, we must pursue cheaper, cleaner, more sustainable forms of energy.

WAR ON TERROR (endorsed by Amnesty)
Close Guantanamo Bay? Yes We Can.
If the USA, and Barack Obama, want to make a genuine commitment
to human rights, they must follow the good start to his Presidency
and close Guantanamo Bay as quickly as possible.

WOMEN’S RIGHTS VIOLATION (endorsed by Amref)
Women give life to Africa.
Women in Africa are the pillars of their communities.
They must be provided with the means to gain respect and to be allowed
to speak with their own voice.

If you’d like to create a poster as a response to one (or more)
of the briefs, just follow these simple steps:
1. Register. It just takes 10 seconds.
2. Create a poster. Find out the technical specifications
in the call for entries PDF file you will receive upon registration.
3. From the 1st of March until Midnight on the 1st of April,
you can upload entries on the Good 50×70 website.
You can upload as many posters as you like. Good Luck!
